Ordination Stole

Bear asked me to make this for Sunday. I messed up the first one, making my own pattern wasn't easy. It's just a sash, straight lines, how hard can it be? I ask.

Well, the second one turned out better, plus I made it reversible with purple for advent season.

I like it.

I'll be a proud wife of my Ordained Pastor husband on Sunday. Wow, that sounds so strange. I'm now married to the clergy. Or rather, I will be after February 8th at 11 am.

BTW, the brick wall that we ran into see here, wasn't so much a brick wall afterall, more like a mountain to be climbed, and we are scaling it's heights right now.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been, and will continue to, pray for you guys as you scale that mountain you mentioned. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be. Please keep me updated on how it goes. Much love to you, Meredith
I understand the "how hard can it be" stole question. I also made my dh's ordination stole (which is also used for installations/ordinations of fellow pastors, confirmation and reformation). I ended up making two as well. How exciting for you all.

I have been thinking of your family as God creates plans for you, plans to prosper and not harm you... Praying the wall is not so high to scale...

Blessings!
You'll make it Mary. You are always blessed. Mountains are just opportunities to strengthen our faith. We love you guys. Good luck.

Mare, You guys have been through SO much. But, I believe in you ...you are very strong, and mom says, "you always land on your feet". I think that is a great compliment! If anyone can scale that mountain, YOU CAN! Love, Nin

Congratulations! Hubby was lucky. He was given a whole set of stoles. Much better than if I'd made them!
What a wonderful gift!
