Funny Pic to share

I've been sorting through oodles and gobs of pictures. (ha ha, my mother used to say that!) Anyway, a lot! Been trying to edit, crop, identify pictures to go in a memorial album for my brother Clarence's family.

I think we are up to 24 copies so far. I'm doing them digitally with a great program from Creative Memories called Storyook Creator Plus. It makes me look like I'm a graphic designer, which clearly, I'm not! But anyway, it's great.

I came across this funny picture of my Daddy and brothers. Thought I'd post it here.

Clarence is on the right standing next to Dad. I guess they were playingping pong. Although I don't remember that there was a ping pong table in that room? Hmmm, maybe they were just being weird, which is tipical behavior for the men in my family.

Can you show a layout with the CM program? I was wondering about how it worked... and new to digi-scrapping. Bless you for working your way through the photos in memory of your brother. I am sure the family will cherish the gifts for years on end.

Actually, Shawn, my blog header was created with Storybook Creator Plus, as was the "Dog Tag" on my sidebar and "The Pleasing Aroma Award" a little further down on the sidebar.

What a sweet thing to do. I'm sure everyone will love your memorial album and hopefully remembering your brothers life will ease the pain of his passing.

Roll, Baby, Roll!

As if I didn't have enough on my plate...(that must be the understatement of the year)I'm jumping in. I was just going to sit back and watch the clues unfold. But I've gotten sucked in! I'm doing this. I love Bonnie Hunter's quilts. They are everything that appeals to me, colorful, scrappy, frugal with lots of great details. I love her motto about "ugly" fabrics, "If it's still ugly, you just didn't cut it small enough!" Once the first clue came out I knew I had to play along. I love green and pink together. It is all over my house in different shades and combinations. My poor husband has to sleep in a froo-froo bedroom. Which he does willingly to keep my happy. (The first time I saw him, he was wearing a pink Izod button down shirt.) [swoon!] Yet, I digress. So, I'll post my progress here. I'll put up a picture as soon as step one is completed. Two Tasks

How hard can it be, I ask? I had two things to do before I put the boys down for a nap. I gathered my keys and the trash and out the door I went, hurrying so that Boo wouldn't be climbing on the baker's rack before I came back inside. Or maybe calling China on my cell phone. Run outside, do the jobs, come back in. Quick. I put the dirty diaper in the mailbox.
